Summary of the Event 2011
Event 2011 Third Edition a Success
Nearly 2.8 thousand people visited the 3rd Trade Fair for Technologies and Services for Concerts, Events and Congresses, the Event 2011, which took place on 5 and 6 October in the MT Centre in Warsaw. A wide offer of products and services for event organisers from agencies, companies, as well as for representatives of government and self-government administration was showcased by 116 exhibitors. The programme of the fair included many interesting conferences, seminars and workshops participated in by several hundred participants total.
'The 3rd Edition of the Event Fair was a success. This year, we noted both more exhibitors and more visitors. The fair posed a perfect opportunity to find a business partner or a subcontractor, as well as becoming familiar with, among others, market novelties and optimal solutions. Without a doubt, many of the contacts made at the fair may in the closest future bring a boon in the form of regular cooperation,' says Dawid Chłopik, Project Manager of the Event Fair.
A wide selection of solutions
Exhibitors at the Event Fair showcased their offer in four main sectors: entertainment, safety and order, event techniques and facilities.'Many people were looking for novelty at the Fair. And we do have that novelty in the form of, for example, shining balloons that we are just introducing into our offer. (…) The Fair has a splendid atmosphere, it is very inspiring, since many people are presenting diverse event ideas. It is also an opportunity to initiate cooperation with partners, it facilitates mutual acquaintance on the contractor—supplier line,' said Ewa Nosarzewska of CONFETTIART.
Recipients of Event 2011 could look at, among others, the largest and longest party limousine in Poland, a mobile 5D cinema, the photo-taking Flashbox machine, a football picknick and many entertainment devices. Neither was there a shortage of interesting presentations of facilities suitable for hosting conferences, concerts and other events. We are pleased with our participation in the Fair. We successfully talked to several customers interested in hiring our facility and holding large events with us,' remarked Klaudia Ferkaluk of Gdynia Sport and Event Hall (Hala Sportowo-Widowiskowa Gdynia).
For the first time ever, the Event Fair hosted a presentation by the Record and Concert Studios of the Polish Radio (Studia Nagraniowe i Koncertowe Polskiego Radia). 'We are advertising a Record and Concert Studio, which means a surface where one can hold an event or conference, therefore we fit very well into the theme of this Fair. (…) We made a sizeable number of contracts. I hope that our presence at the Fair will increase the interest in studios, will advertise them better in the market and among private recipients,' noted Krzysztofa Górniak of the Record and Concert Department of the Polish Radio.
Various advertising media were showcased at the stands; in attendance were companies dealing in integrated marketing, organising event actions, conferences and trips. The offer included, among others, bandstand, theatre and disco lights, LED screens, satellite video transmission, video conference, telebridge, image execution and multimedia services. One could also peruse the proposals of complex medical, safety and security services. Barman shows, flair-style, acrobatic and sleight of hand shows were not missing from the Fair, either. Moreover, this year, the visitors could take a look at the offer of exhibitors from the World Hotel 4th International Hotel Facilities Equipment Trade Fair, which, as an independent fair, took place in parallel with the Event Fair, at the same location and time.
All about events
